While I was at college during my most valuable senior semester, creating my first line of clothing for my senior project, covid happened. I was forced to go home leaving my professors, lab, models, resources, projects, & senior fashion show behind. During this time, I chose to persevere. I decided I was still going to create my line of clothes despite the circumstances. This is where my line Celebrate came to life. I remodeled my entry way at home into the most colorful sewing room you could ever dreamt of! I worked countless hours sewing, borrowed supplies from my sweet little home town community, communicated with professors over zoom calls, and spent a lot of time sewing with my grandma—who actually taught me to sew in 8th grade. During this hard time my bright line of clothing brought me so much joy and sparked the idea that life is worth celebrating each and every day. Not just on our normal typical celebrations but every day in between, despite the circumstance. We were born to celebrate!! We were called to choose joy and pursue life in abundance!
